Drumcar and Tractor car road run

This new dvd was filmed on a beautiful Sunday in April around the Clogherhead and Drumcar areas in Co. Lough. It was ran by the Drumcar Tractor Club with the proceeds going to the Clogherhead Life Boat and the Children’s Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

It proved to be a very successful day and it is said that boys from all ages, from six to ninety-six took part in different ways, from real tractors to model tractors.
A record 235 tractors turned up for the event and some old cars as well. Massey seemed to take up the majority of the machines from old and new.
They assembled at the beach in Clogherhead where they launched the Life Boat. They sailed past and fired two flares in appreciation at what they had done and a small RNLI tractor lead the convoy through the village of Clogher, continuing on their journey to Clogherhead. Here they got refreshments, saw a very big model show and some of them danced the evening away!
